disc brakes on a 75 620.

 i recently bought my first 620 (1975 model yr.) after MANY yrs of wanting one. i want to swap into disc brakes on the front, but also on rears later. i need to know if the d21/h-body swap ine seen in other threads will work on mine, as its done on a later model, and i know there are some differences, but not what yrs, nor the differences. help!! i want this thing running and stopping when the snow melts and salt is off the roads!!

The quick answer is no, it won't work unless you have a '78 or '79 620. The easiest way is to contact BEEBANI on here who makes adapters that bolt on and allow you to mount your own calipers. (probably D21s I don't know)

I found it fairly easy to install the D21 spindles onto my 76 frame(same as your 75). But it did take a bit of custom work, however no frame modifications.

 

Might even have pics of it all in my build thread(in signature).
