akawes
I've never been one to keep cars the original color but I like the green on my 510. How would I go about finding the paint code on the car? Quote Link to comment
Guest 510kamikazifreak
Early 510's (rad support) Later 510s(pretty sure, are on the cowl id tag) Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
The paint code was a sticker on the radiator core support. Likely long gone. Best is find some removable part that was covered, hence unfaded, and take it in to a paint shop to match. Quote Link to comment

akawes
sooo... i got curious and went out to my car. Low and behold the sticker is still there but the number is basically non existent. But i got super lucky with the glare from the lights in our parking lot and was able to barely make the number out. My cars original color was code 911 Green. Theres the oic to show the sticker tried to get one with the faint number but it wouldn't show. I also like 563 Sora Blue Quote Link to comment

akawes
I'll have to check to see if a number is stamped under that right sticker just to be sure but i'm pretty positive its 911 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
From what i can see it looks like 911 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
It looks like the paint code sticker was masked when the car was repainted and when the masking tape was ripped off, the printed number code went with the tape. Good luck on getting a reasonable approximation of the original color, the mix codes probably do still exist and you might just luck out! Quote Link to comment
highdesertdatsun
Any info on what the paint code for a green 66 520 might be. The OG green. Thanks Quote Link to comment
