Not only pricey, but WTF? Go to your local JY and get one for your Sprite, Midget, whatever. If you own one of the above mentioned cars, you know how to turn wrenches. It may be for an A motor but doesn't look like an 'A' type tranny to me. Smooth case, maybe a dog leg?

Smooth case is most common type for A-series engines. It is a 60-series transmission, most are regular shift pattern, a few are dogleg shifter. For some reason the MG people avoid the doglegs; never seen one for sale for that conversion.

By the way, does anybody have a RHD Datsun shift knob? For a 4-speed. Mine has some weird aftermarket shifter that keeps falling off.

All I found is the rare RHD cigar lighter, sorry not much help. I'll keep looking.
