Clutch collar and Clutch fork "may" be available with (I'll have to check as my memory is fried at the moment) NO promises :) Said to have been shifting/driving good/normal/smooth. I haven't tried to bolt a KA24E 5speed trans to a KA24DE before so I wouldn't know .. :unsure: If not I imagine all it is... is just a magical swap of the front case though ! Link to comment

datzenmike Posted March 18, 2013 Report Share Posted March 18, 2013 KA-E and KA-DE 71C use the same front transmission case, although some DE's have a speed sensor (or maybe it's a CAS) mounted on the top of the 'bell to 'read' the starter teeth. Both cases have the 62mm counter bearing hole in them. The Z series 71B case is identical to the E/DE but earlier than '85 they have a 56mm counter bearing. 1 Link to comment
