Hood movingt when in highway

So the hood frame and the hood it self are completely detach. The stuff that was holding it together is all burnout or nonexistent.

Any suggestions on how to attach the metal frame and the sheet that makes the hood.

silicone sealer, the kind they use for windows. GE 2 i believe.

this is what some wheel companies use to seal their 2/3 piece wheels, so i would think it would work?

 

that is, unless someone can come up with a better/more correct sealer/adhesive

This what I used when I fixed mine...about 12-13 years ago. Still holding strong. There were glued from the factory with something similar I believe.
