j_boy_619
What can I remove from this image? And how would I route all of the hoses? https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xDmJqj03tKo/US65sALOm7I/AAAAAAAAAH4/yrLl99pOSRw/s773/13+-+1 Also, since I already swapped out for an electric fan and want to get rid of the air pump.... wont I only need a pulley connecting the engine to the alternator? https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gB9EP-ARpo8/US65sADo35I/AAAAAAAAAIA/mpXSLk_Z7cg/s773/13+-+2 I've tried reading the forums, but it's hard to understand the way things are written for me... sadly I need pictures. Or maybe a ghetto fashioned sketch or what things are haha. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think the alternator already has a separate pulley and belt that also turns the water pump. Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
Oh shoot, forgot about that.... Well then.... If I remove the air pump, do I just cap all of the places it attached too? And for the EGR, do I remove only the EGR and put a plate there? Or can I remove the pipe that leads all the way to the engine and just replace it with a bolt? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I assume this is an attempt to 'simplify' or 'clean up the looks' because it's a lot of work and risk of doing something wrong for no performance gain. It's so much easier to just remove the belt and leave it alone, in fact that's just what I did with my new '76 B-210 Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
I was hoping to clean it up and remove the non-essentials. So if I just remove the belt I should be fine? What about the hoses then? cap em? Quote Link to comment
