NCLNDYM
Getting ready to put carbs on and I have questions as to where i can get new gaskets for them. Are they the same as the roadster ones. I need gaskets for intake to heat shield, and I'm not sure if i need gaskets on either side of isolator or just one side, then gasket for carb to air cleaner, and new dome gaskets. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you Quote Link to comment
racerx
Type of carb? If its weber go to weberdirect, intake gasket can go to autozone or kragens or rock auto. Quote Link to comment
nismo dr
you can get the isolaters from Nissan still, they come with new gaskets affixed. I'll see if I can find the part #, I got a few other gaskets too when I renewed my carbs Quote Link to comment
Sealik
Garb a sheet of gasket material..... you would of been done by now....lol Gaskets are needed on each side of the isolator...3 per SU. Actually I used a can of "spray a gasket/Permatex)"...made (6) multiple imprints from one flange after I sprayed it a few times. Obviously the IM/ runner(s) were completely covered from over spray. Took about an hour(ish) to cut them all out of the sheet, including prep and 'clean up' Not recommended......but......worked rather well. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Go to dollar store and get a hole punch and a pair of scissors. Every Datsun owner should have this basic tool. Outline the part with ballpoint and cut out with scissors. For holes nibble with hole punch or make hole large enough to get scissors started. Made this in 1/3 the time it would take to drive half way to town. Quote Link to comment
