A friend of mine just sent me this link:

I did some surfing and found this site with some better photo's

While a $800 part is nutty for a every day L-series build, I cant help but appreciate the engineering of this system and wanted to share it with you folks. Thoughts?

At JCCS I heard a L series with sidedrafts and these twin idler gear.

There is NO chain noise, its almost creepy how silent the motor sounds.  I would absolutely love one for each of my motors!!

If only someone sold a cheaper one.

Kameari makes all kinds of cool L series stuff.

Oh god... they have close ratio FS5W71B gearsets...

You just ruined it for me. I was hoping it made a terrible whining noise.

That motor I heard almost sounded supercharged.. All you heard was induction and exhaust, very little mechanical noise.  I thought it sounded great.

I can only imagine how far a fully setup kameari L series would revv...

Good god Stupid_fast you are the quick edit master! I did a thorough search before posting this, but upon a google image search I found a thread where it was talked about (slightly)

http://community.ratsun.net/topic/25202-lz24-buildsome-assembly-required/

While I will NOT be using this on any of my L-Series I thought it at least invited some scrutiny and a chance for anyone with the set-up to give us their experience with it. The stock tensioner has always treated me right (and thousands of others for over 40 years) I cant help being a gear head & I work in automation so any system that employs idler gears over friction tensioners is good engineering in my book

Probably not further than mine.Or a Rebello motor or a BSR motor.

I just finshed perusing their website.I haven't seen such a collection of over-priced snake-oil in a long,LONG time.Aboslute bullcrap aimed at the in-experienced.
