DeviousPsycho620
I'm lucky. But it also means its possible. Doesn't mean that your ride can't be the same. It will just take time.. You think my truck was built in a day? It took Beebani months to do it and get it right. Stick with it man. You have a solid foundation to build upon. Quote Link to comment

Kyle84
 hahah yeah. im working on picking up those 16's from the member that posted on the last page (ill be damned if im deleting this to go back a page) so i can work on getting some tires. getting two factory tachs with a resistor, and a factory clock to fill in the two blank spots in my dash. :) Quote Link to comment
DeviousPsycho620
I wish i had a factory tach. Quote Link to comment
Kyle84
get one? lol. i dont how rare they can possible be. but i found three of them for my truck... Quote Link to comment
dat77sun
there alot easier to find tachs for 720's than 620's Quote Link to comment
Kyle84
Well i fixed my idle today. and lowered the idle some. :) needless to say im a lot happier with the truck. dash pot was already gone. something was just bound up. so i messed around with the linkages and sprayed them down with liquid wrench for it to soak in. now the only problem is the accelorator gets stuck to the floor if i push it down to hard.... :O LOL and since i was so happy with it. it got a photo taken:  Quote Link to comment
Kyle84
So, im really liking the tire to wheel ratio on this truck: Wish i knew whose it was so i could ask them what size tire they are! lol. Lazy day, taken from my bedroom window... :/ Quote Link to comment

Kyle84
Nah, haha. Even though i'd love to. :) I'd be down to find someone with a 720 KC 4x4 to trade with, if i did anything. Quote Link to comment

Kyle84
Yay! Truck looks better with an unmashed bumper that isnt also bent up! But boy it was sure difficult to get the bumper brackets to line up with the bumper. had to shove them around a bit. and i can no longer use the fender mounts for the end caps. idk how that happened. but w/e. it looks so much better! it still has a few small indentations but nothing like before! and it sits straight. progress! still no idea whats wrong with my heater... :( valve is still connected to the lever and turns... but heater is only ever luke warm. could be thermo stat? but the trucks guage goes up to half no problem. and replaced (or rather installed?) a light bulb for the heater controls. which required me splicing in a new socket for the bulb cuz the tabs that hold it into the control panel were gone on the socket. Quote Link to comment

Put the system into recirculate instead of fresh air, does that help? Maybe the heater core is plugged? Quote Link to comment
Kyle84
if the heater core is plugged i was told both hoses that lead through the fire wall would NOT be hot.? and mine both are (or seem to be?) i felt around. i seems to be opening all the way. fresh/recirc doesnt matter to it. :/ i didnt really check around for kinked hoses, but the ones i saw looked fine. wayno
OK, then you need to pull the duct system apart till you find what's blocking the system, one of the flappers is not opening all the way, a rodent has built a nest in there, something is blocking the heater core air. If both hoses are hot, then the core is likely good. 1 Quote Link to comment
DeviousPsycho620
Have you made sure your vents are all hooked up correctly and your fan is running the right direction? Quote Link to comment
Kyle84
Fan pushes out air... so i would assume the fan is running correct way? I'll work at taking the ducting apart maybe tomorrow if i get home before dark... :) I REALLY like having a heater.... bahahah. Quote Link to comment
