Conner Posted February 11, 2013 Report Share Posted February 11, 2013 Hey guys. My truck is a 1964 L320. Strange question: was the intake manifold originally painted? I'm used to unpainted aluminum intake manifolds like in my roadster but the truck intake appears to be steel and it looks like some old worn off Datsun blue engine paint is on there in spots. I bought a can of the blue paint for some other bits. I know the manifold is pretty well hidden under the intake but I'm considering painting it if that's what they were originally.
