derek72_521
looking for a new pair of anchor bolts for my 72 521, probably want them a little longer than the stock ones. Link to comment
wayno
You don't need longer ones, if your trying to go lower or raise your truck and you have run out of room(threads), you need to re-index your torsion bars themselves. Link to comment

derek72_521
Yup! That's how they look like! I think the ones on the truck are 5.5 inches. How long are those? Link to comment
ggzilla
They only come in one size. Link to comment
wayno
They are 4 7/8ths inches from one end to the other. These are off a 66 datsun 520, I believe they are all the same, but I really don't pay much attention to the 520/521 frames anymore. Let me know if you want this set, they would be $15.00 shipped, and I know that's a lot for a couple bolts, but your actually paying me to stand in that stupid USPS line. Link to comment
ggzilla
Why stand in line at USPS? Grab a $5 box, buy the postage online, and put in the package drop at the Post Office. Link to comment
wayno
Why stand in line at USPS? Grab a $5 box, buy the postage online, and put in the package drop at the Post Office. Because I don't ship enough to do it that way, in my world, I put my information out there as little as possible, and that is what all them places want, your information, safeway, albertsons, pick n pull, USPS, UPS, and if they have a card that is scanned, they even keep track of what you buy, and they sell that type of info to others that want to sell you stuff also, what kind of emails do the "toolkit" members of the "pick n pulls" get, and exactly who are they from? It would not surprise me that email stuff comes out of the blue, well I don't know about the rest of you, but I get less than 10 emails a day, and most of the crap comes from EBAY, but at least they have not sold my address to any third parties yet. wayno
Hey Wayno! The ones on the truck are a little longer but i'll take yours anyway. Please pm me your paypal info. Thanks How much longer? Maybe the 72 521 bolts with an L16 are differant than the 66 520 with the J13 in it. Does anyone here know if the early 620 torsion bar adjustment bolts are the same as a 72 521? Link to comment
ggzilla
There is only one size for 520 and 521 (54216-14800). The 620 version is different. Link to comment
derek72_521
Its about 1/2 inch longer Link to comment
derek72_521
There was a thread where Datzenmike said 620 has the same style as the 521 but didnt mention about the length. Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
if you can wait ill have a set from a 620 in a week or two Link to comment
derek72_521
Eagle_Adam, can u or anyone confirm if the 620 and 521 have the same style bolts and longer than the 521? Link to comment
wayno
My set of bolts came off a 1966 datsun 520, as the years went by, many small changes took place in the front suspensions of the 320/520/521/620, maybe the torsion bar bolt length also changed for the 521, my 520 bolts are 4 7/8ths inches. ggzilla
The 521 uses the same bolts as the 520. Same length. Link to comment
wayno
The 521 uses the same bolts as the 520. Same length. Well he has a 72 521, and his are longer than the set I have, but my 520 is such an early truck, that it would not surprise me if mine are the same length as the 320 bolts. Link to comment
