Recommended Posts

Anybody want to come have some fun tomorrow? I will be there most of the day if the parts i want are still there. I plan on gutting a BMW, I need motor, trans, drive line, rear diff, rear axles, rear hubs, engine harness, trans shift assembly and computers.

I am working on a complete 540 conversion on my wife's BMW.

The parts pulling will go fast, what i really need help with is getting that cherry picker thing around the gravel and then all the parts up the hill and  then into my truck.

Feel free to stop by if you want. I will take gladly take care of entry fees.

Not much of the front of that car survived after I got their, Jason said something about pulling the front off the car and pulling the engine up and forward, I was standing there watching him using his dewalt mini impact wrench, which I really need one of them, they are awesome, anyway after tugging on the front core support for a while, and looking at what needed cut or a bolt taken out, when Jason turned his back after cutting some wires ans such, I grabbed that freaking thing and opened it up like a door, after the destruction that I caused doing that, it didn't take long to get it off, he was actually taking it apart like he would his car, figuring out how to do it properly, and I just wanted it out of the way by that time.

Pushing all them parts out of that hole took some help, when we got to the hill, we took a small break, I went to the top of the hill looking for an ATV that might be used to drag that cart up there, but nothing in sight, so when I arrived at the bottom, Jason was ready, so up the hill we went, I am getting old, and am not sure how much help I was, but when we got a quarter of the way up, someone else started helping, and we made it barely, I do not believe that Jason and I would have made it up in one try.
