Bellhousing interchange?

I've searched abit and didn't find anything and I don't remember asking this yet so I thought I would. I'm toying with a few idea's and I want to see what other engines I can bolt to my Jatco tranny via swapping bellhousing. What other Jatco bellhousings will bolt up? is there some sort of interchange list somewhere? I'm bored and thinking and because of a certain situation (looooooooooong story) I'm thinking hard on this.

I assume these are datsun engine series only? Thanks! I'm curious as to other make and model engines as well that would bolt up via bellhousing swaps.

Sometime in the mid/late '80s the L4N71B was introduced and (I think) all autos were 4 speeds. The JATCO 3 and later 4 speed 'bells' are different and don't swap.

 

If you have a 3 speed you should be able to swap the bells listed. There are variations in flex plates and torque converters.

Yes it's an automatic, I don't remember what I did with my notes on my 86 nissan hardbody 2wd but the L4N71B sounds right. when I looked up my tranny, I seen that it also came in a few different makes and models like mazdas and DSM's thats what got me to thinking about swapping another engine besides nissan just to be different at this point and time. I know that engine mounts may have to be fabbed as well as wiring harnesses routed, computer placement etc etc etc. I'm just thinking for now and seeing what pops up. Thanks again!
