Grooves in the intake ports

Service Bulletin vol. 278 pg 44:

 

Grooves have been added to the intake ports for No. 1 and No. 2 cylinders to provide equal fuel distribution between the cylinders.

 

To correspond with the intake ports, grooves have been added to the No. 1 and No. 2 branches of the intake manifold. With this change, the manifold gasket has been redesigned.
