I actually like the factory tail lights, I'd like to have the trim panel that goes on the tail gate between them, maybe a set of the euro style with the amber tops, but that's all I'd change.

I agree with you 100%. I'm just thinking if you were going to go thru all that work. Why trailer light's??

There's probably a thread about this ,but if would be nice to have a multi-led panel that fit inside the factory tail light. I've seen some for other vehicles, that you just cut to fit the area behind the tail light lens. We sell some lights at NAPA, for heavy duty trucks & trailers that are multi led. Maybe that's what they were going for with those "trailer lights".

The led thing was just a thought. It would be nice to have brighter tail lights, especially brake lights, for safety reasons, you know. I didn't say I wanted them to flash & do a light show, like at some nightclub or something.

These kids today, with their rock&roll music and, their light-emitting diodes....sheesh!

"What are you people — on dope?"

Dope???? What? You have any left.

I'm doing this on my '68.

Like these, only with the lens removed and installed inside the housing...

Those are the kind of lights we sell for trailers, etc. I've only seen the "trim to fit " led panels on some of the hot rodding shows on tv.

I definitely don't want the "trim to fit" versions. By that point, might as well build your own...

That riser goes on top of the jack for more height. Wagon only item. It stores on top of the jack under the front drivers seat. Here is a pic. (Not my pic)
