GOONS check in

Recommended Posts

My brothers all had D-slots on their 510s back in the 80's but I prefer the look with the Panasports.

I always liked this car. Whenever you google 510 wagon this car shows up. I have it as my screensaver as an example of how our goon should look when it's done.

I like the fit of the panasports with the stance.

One thing I thought I saw way back was that someone had welded or I guess shaved or closed off the back door and windows on each side of a goon to make it look like a panel truck. If I'm right it looked pretty nice. If I can find a pic I'll post it.

A guy named Wolf down in Tx. did this.

Wagon Dave (Bothwell ) had one several years ago. It was unfinished,but it looked like whoever did the welding,etc to the rear doors,&added the panels,did a nice job. It looked like it was going to be real nice. I don't know if he took any pics of it or not.

Nice wagon what is the tire size on those? And what's your suspension set up?

Thanks! 185/60/14 front, 185/65/14 rear - 280z struts/Datsport springs up front, 2" blocks and Monroe MaxAir in the back (aired down in the pic).

@Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy...

I believe they are stock Corvair rims with baby moon hubcaps.  They rims have GM stamped near the bolt pattern and are 13x5.5”.

Probably too much to get them out here with shipping atm for me. It's a dream... but the dream includes some other crazy shit that needs to be done to them first. Don't really have any work space at college either  :hmm:

I was just talking about the dog dish caps, not wheels. Shipping on that is probably $10-15.
