Rocket Dog Posted March 26, 2013 Report Share Posted March 26, 2013 One possible solution to the 521 door lock. Lock Smart model DL47010. It's a newer model Nissan replacement door lock, the cylinder lock itself has 4 tabs, but the hole in your 521 door has just 3 slots. My solution was to grind down the 4th slot on the cylinder lock itself, then the lock fits perfectly in the door. You will also have to reverse the tab on the end of the lock to make it line up with your door lock connecting rod (if that's what it's called).
