Jasper
If it was running with a complete trans I'd probably pay 350. Not running, do a inspection, and maybe pay $150. Quote Link to comment

What do you want it for? It has less power than your napZ engine. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The Z24 has way more torque than an L20B, about 30% more. Torque is what's needed to pull a heavy 720 4x4 around. Quote Link to comment
DanielC
The local pick-n-pull has engines with accessories for $189.00. Those are US dollars. I would consider $350.00, if it started, ran good, and had good compression, with no odd noises. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Not in southern Ontario. I had problems out there once and couldn't fine anything... ANYTHING Nissan of any kind before mid 90s. I was near Toronto and all the yards crush old stuff. It was a wasteland. I found a few old mom and pop yards out in the boonies north of Newcastle had old BIg Three shit no Nissans and certainly no Datsuns. Have to ask what's wrong with the motor you have?? The most common thing is the head gasket blowing. You can fix this for under $30 and an afternoon. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Southern Ontario is in the Rust Belt, isn't it? Where they make american cars? Quote Link to comment
darrel
That thing has been on ebay quite a few times. As far as who's being a sheister, probably him for asking that much for something that hasn't run for 10 yrs. Quote Link to comment
