Transmission mount

I figured this was as good a place as any to post this... Does anyone know where I can buy NEW transmission mounts for a 510? I've tried a couple parts stores and didn't see any on rockauto.com either. Mine is broke on the race wagon. Rubber is fine, urethane would be better though... Help me out guys

I looked on Ebay and didn't have any luck, so I'm still looking for a trans mount :confused:

 I can't believe noone is selling these in Poly, considering how popular 510's are in racing.

No advantage to polly trans mt. even in racing. Does not enhance handling or shifting over rubber. I can see it for suspension mounting but only for racing.

Why would you want poly? It is not giveable enough for transmission mount.

 

A new Nissan rubber mount will last a long time.

I figured a poly trans mount would be less prone to tearing under racing conditions, that's all.

Or just buy them from Nissan. I got those numbers from the 2012 Nissan catalog.

Just remember that what is in their catalog 1) probably has to be ordered and 2) may not be available.

IIRC, I used a GM F-body mount with my 5mt in the Dime.

opps that link is my bought one ....current auction i think why u cant find it is itt was listed as a rear engine mount ,.......something i found at rock auto too but was never able to locate this item on rock......i forgot who linked this it may have been zilla in my thread ,....

 

edit: it was creepy cruiser but it was zilla who helped identify my needs...like i said good piece took a bit though

Yes, Datsun calls the transmission mount the Rear Engine Mounting Insulator.
