New guy here. 720 dually.

Hello, joined this forum since I finally own a datsun, sorta... it still says nissan on the side.

Bought a 1985 720 dually flatbed a few months back, had some electrical/lighting issues, finally figured out it was a missing relay. So it should be road legal soon.

Plans: Full stage zero service, plugs wires, fluids belts hoses. A little drop in height, maybe some new wheels, Maybe a wide single wheel conversion in the rear, if that is even possible on these.

Possibly remake a different flatbed flatbe and some better lights.

Couple low light pics. Got dark while I replaced the fuel pump.

thats a pretty sweet truck man! perfect little parts hauler. Although a super single conversion with fat barrel'd rims would be pretty cool, i say leave it a dually. Something about duallys and flatbeds seem to go together like titties and beer. Welcome to Ratsun, Cheers!

That is a sweet truck, my dad loaded this one with wood like that while it sat on the far. Few feet mounded over the stake sides.

Got my Dually home. basically and hour drive after sitting for over a year, drove like a champ. need to fix an exhaust leak ( the muffler fell off ) couple headlights headlight relay, and the reverse lights. Then it can get inspected.

7, 55 gallon barrels ( empty ) It could hold 9+.

Collecting them for use as drift clipping points at a track.

Drives great for how long it sat not running.

Going to do some new fluids, oil, coolant, diff and trans. And it probably needs some new pads, rotors, shoes and drums. Has serious wobble under braking.

Loving the little Dat-san though.
