Generally, Southern and Western cars that are on the east coast are worth $1500 +/- over what they bring out west. That covers the cost of shopping and shipping. Link to comment

Not much profit if he paid anywhere near the asking price and then shipping to NY. To go from this car to wanting a rat rod is odd but he may just want a 510 with power instead of a nice looking "slow" car......just puzzles me to put out near $10k then to realize what your dream is.
