zoktoberfest
Hello all I just got a 520 in pretty good shape. I have some clutch clatter that I can live with until summer. But my wiper arm springs are weak and don't provide good windshield contact. I live in Portland OR and that's a big problem, this time of year. I don't see a way to remove the arm for a new spring or replacement arm? No cap; so there has to be a set screw at the base of the wiper arm to hold it on and to the drive shaft. It must be inside and behind where the spring grabs the base of the wiper arm. But there is a curved engagement bracket in the way. Any idea, if it is indeed there, how to get past it without damaging it? Quote MultiQuote Edit Quote Link to comment
DanielC
If it is like a 521, you have to work then back and forth a little, and just pull them straight off. Quote Link to comment
double j
Like DanielC said. They are just pressed onto the the drive head. I shot some WD-40 on mine to help get them off. Quote Link to comment
