Bob Sharp - still alive?

I've been wanting to do a B210 like the one in the '74 issue of Hot Rod Magazine,

that was a project of Bob Sharp Racing.

I was just thinking - is he still alive?

I don't know but I hope he's still around one thing related to Bob Sharp is this Valve cover that's selling for $3k and it's cheaply spray painted lol.

As I recall, the article on that car doesn't mention Bob Sharp anywhere. Also, that issue is from '76 not '74.

No - the magazine is the July 1974 issue - the did an article

on a project car that Bob Sharp's shop built.It was a street car,not a

race car.

Bob Sharp is alive and well. NissanSport magazine did an interview with him in the latest issue #24.

Yes, I am a subscriber. It seems to be more Nissan and Infiniti stuff but they definitely cover Datsuns. They did the Bob Sharp article and a couple issues ago had a VERY nice dime on the cover (pretty sure the owner of that dime is a member on here). It is a quarterly publication and is done quite well. I don't believe I have ever seen one on a newstand or bookstore.......I am Kelmo and I approve this publication(oh wait....elections are over).

Thanks, I may just have to subscribe. I'd never heard of that magazine before, but I've never been into the go fast or racing stuff either. But anything dedicated solely to nissan/datsun is cool with me.

I see that nissansport mag at Barnes and Nobles all the time. The issue on the stands right now has a big Bob Sharp spread on the cover
