hosestop@msn.com Posted June 12, 2013 Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 Hi I chimed in late , I had a completed Crown mfg. turbo L18 in a 521 ,will try and find a pic tonite to take a pic of ,was very fast had Oringed head to keep headgasket intact (15psi) water injection with 3psi switch anyway may help with your location for turbo , my friend in sd still has one maybe in garage.Had a 45mm weber near radiator with heated manifold or would get frosty white without water ,no intercooler !.Also ran a Ray Jay fat turbo exhaust was b flow and compressor was an f flow I think. We do it all the time on HybridZ...bone stock L28's making north of 450HP when turbocharged...and we're talkin' 150,000 mile junkyard engines! It's all in the tune.
