Dime Dave Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Its tough to find a 13" alloy wheel that can be machined to the 6x139.7 bolt pattern. Try a steel racing wheel company like Bart, Diamond, Real or Bassett and ask them if they can do it. Years back we made 13x7 wheels for my 61 VW Bug. I bought 7" wheels (no centers) and cut down the stock VW wheel centers to fit. If you can find someone that will sell you the 13" shell and have someone that can machine the stock wheel centers down you could build your own. Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 Diamond sells their ministock series wheels with an optional bolt pattern 6x5.5" (139.7mm). Buy the rolled shell wheels. The spun ones are too thin for the street. They bend like butter just trying to change tires. Trust me I have a set.
