Mehly20 Posted October 31, 2012 Report Share Posted October 31, 2012 I saw a few topics regarding this but mine seems a little more unique to itself. When driving, and it gets worse the higher the RPMs, and I disengage the clutch by pressing in the clutch pedal I get a rattling and somewhat of a grinding noise. If I shift into neutral it stops but if I stay in gear or downshift and keep the clutch in it gets bad. I have also had problems with 5th gear as it used to slip out. I took out the bolt for the bearing and spring and put it back in. ( was never able to get the ball and spring out to check) after that I could not get into 5th or reverse. I think the problems are independent of each other but thought I would add it just in case. Any ideas? Thanks!!!! Link to comment
