DISLEXICDIME
why not pick a shipper and ask them . Quote Link to comment
demo243
Do not request a random shipping quote!!!! you will be inundated with quotes for weeks - phone email text all of the above.... do some research and call someone I made the mistake of requesting a quote online months later i still get an email here and there I ended up just driving to pick it up since gas and a trailer were cheaper - but i only had to go to baltimore Quote Link to comment
Elsocio
That's what I don't wanna do que a online quote because all the email after. Hopefully I'll find some one that has done it and can tell how much they pay. Thanks guys Quote Link to comment
Juan Valdez
I handled it for a coworker of mine a few yeas ago and it was roughly $1200 to ship a Honda Accord from San Diego to Charlotte, NC. Shop around and like the OP said, don't email, CALL. Quote Link to comment
Dat Lurka
Fly to Oregon. Drive to NY. Preferably before you are underwater. Quote Link to comment

The Taterhead
Easy car move inc. was the cheapest one I found. It's a broker company, they don't actually ship themselves. Shipped my car from a little north of Miami FL to central Alabama for $350. Non-running car. Open trailer. I was told by them that if it had to go more north that it the price would be affected by dealing with snow and ice in the winter (I had it shipped in Dec.) So this storm will definitely cause hiccups. Good luck, hope this helps Quote Link to comment
hosestop@msn.com
1200-1400 sounds close for a small car they charge more for heavy cars ,I would check DAS. based all over ,also if you find an owner op that can do it cross country -some use brokers and unload in Texas ect then another co. picks up.I ship a few cars from So Cal. yellowdatsun
At least $1000. But as with that other guys shipment recently, I'd pay quite a bit more just to make sure it's done right, and in a timely manner. Or drive it, and see the country. Quote Link to comment
qwik510
I have had several cars brought from the west coast to me and the last one was $950 a year ago. Quote Link to comment

Sounds like you are wasting your money. If the car is so cheap from the west coast, it is probably rusty or a basket case. Not worth paying to have it shipped. Save up some money and start with the best car you can afford., It will save you in the long run Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Wow; that's pretty cheap shipment! I was getting quotes for that same price to get a car shipped to Oregon from Colorado! That's less than half the distance.. Quote Link to comment
