The Portland area will offer a big bang for your buck this Sat: SP 4449 will be on display courtesy of Portland & Western /G&W, along with around 500 show cars, an engine blow, and burn out contest, Operation Life Saver, and a Dodge Dakota Hi-Railer courtesy of the Oregon Pacific Railroad. 4449 souveniers and Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation info will be there. cruisinsherwood.com The Collings Foundation will be in near by Hillsboro with thier "Wings of Freedom" tour. there are chances to ride or tour the WWII vintage B17, B24, B25, and P51. And the Washington Park & Zoo Ry will have its 50th Anniversary. Home to a 30" gauge Aerotrain, steam 4-4-0, and misc critters.
