That pic was today after i had a balloon installed, it goes in my waist, and up into my heart. It inflates and deflates with every heartbeat. Also, some sensor wire that comes in my neck, thru my heart and ends up in my lung... I was excited cause I was getting food, they didnt let me eat lunch...

update from dave

So I need all the positive vibes, thoughts, prayers, animal sacrifices, candles lit, and any thing else you can think of or make up for me thru this weekend!

I have the weekend to have improvement in my heart function, or else its a mechanical half or full heart. For at least a year, and then a transplant.

Im scared and kinda freakin out up here, I will never change my positive attitude and outlook! But Im in deep and just want to be better. I love you all, thanks

Dave

Kind of weird that this has come up so close to home.... figuratively and literally.... Brody is currently doing Research Assistant stuff with the grad program there at UW on ventricular assist devices for patients awaiting heart transplants.

Good luck Dave! May you never need to use a product that Brody is doing research for :P Everyone is pulling for you to make a full recovery buddy.
