the510keeper
Still no 5th gear, and now reverse is out. Didn't want to rip it a part this soon but so be it Getting it an alignment, so decided to make some last minutes changes in the rain. Now I know what Atom Church had been talking about. Getting wet while working on dimes. Installed some adjustable T/C rods in the beginning, but i wasn't diggin em, So i installed some stock ones. Then installed freshly painted control arms and new bushings. On with the drivers side now Quote Link to comment

lovedatsun
This all started 6 years ago, I had been driving my first Coupe and noticed this red Coupe on Ebay. "I want I want I want" I said, then realized I was in the middle of building a house and upgrading my Coupe. Not the best timing. Years later I Hook up with a hottie Datsun girl. Sell off Commando (my green Coupe), By rusty (bare metal Coupe), and then this Red Coupe pops up on C/L in Maui. I make an offer, the seller (Chris) has got an offer and is considering the car sold. No loss, then one day out of the blue I get an email. the Coupe is yours, if you are still interested. I mentioned I was interested but did not have the cash. No rush just stay in touch, Chris replied. 18 months later I finally had the cash and ready to buy. Chris is a busy guy, and wanted a simple transaction. So I flew to Maui, arranged for tow truck, and drop off at the port. Finally met and did some business. Got back on a plane and flew home, 2 weeks later i get a call it is ready to pick up in San Diego. 20 hour round trip drive and a cute new bird in the yard. Then on a ship Nice ride.Hard to find. 1 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
I think I might paint the hood red Recent interior pics And engine shot Johnny fuckin faster just rewired most the car. The wiring to the wipers were cut (no wonder why I couldn't find the plug for the wiper motor) On the way back from Vegas we realized we didn't have headlights, that's fixed. And all in all cleaned up the complete look of the engine bay and under the dash. Dishes are done Quote Link to comment
