NWOleman
Ok maybe this is a dumb question but here it is. If i cut the springs on my 710 in the front which way do i cut the spring or does it matter? Say the spring is standing up, do i cut the spring vertically or horizontially? I hope that makes sense, i just want to get it right. Also do i have to remove the whole strut assembly or can i cut the springs out with them in place? I need about 3" in the front and 2" in the back. Thanks again guys, NWO! Quote Link to comment
fisch
Yo NWO have you posted pictures of this thing yet? I'd love to see it! We don't see many 710's. (there is one for sale around here that they want 7K for!!!! Even though it is minty, 7K is CRAZY!) And did you ever post pictures of the 610 you wanna chop? Bust out the digital camera bro! Burabuda
remove the strut, pull off the spring, and cut vertically (btw, use a good set of spring compressor/clamps ... unless you want a 710 coil spring in your gut or in your face) on the rear you need some lowering blocks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Cutting out a coil will stiffen the spring rate too don't forget. (not always a bad thing:mellow:) There are formulae for this. Icehouse?? Quote Link to comment
