What is this radiator out of?

This radiator was in my 620 when I bought it and was not wide enough for the mounting holes. It sprung a leak so I replaced it. It's allot smaller than a 620 radiator and says made in Japan. I figure someone pulled it out of another model Datsun. Any clue what it's from? I was thinking 520 possibly?

Kinda what I thought. Only seen under the hood of a j powered Datsun once at pick and pull tho

Yup. The same part number is used for the manual rad through '74. The '75 and on used a different rad support that allowed more room for the rads used on the hotter L20Bs. Perhaps they were slightly wider too. This could maybe be an earlier rad.

early rad. have one in my red 73.. its an inch shorter than the one on my black\blue 73 due to that one being out of a 78.

It's worth scrap value at least, or you can have it repaired at a radiator shop.

Not worth repairing to me haha I replaced it with a radiator I pulled from a junk yard. A guy I ust to work with knows datsuns pretty well and he said I got the big radiator which sounds good to me. I also put a new water pump in at the same time

A true Datsun owner will always be able to mow his yard and find a Datsun part that he or someone else needs.

Yea. Couldn't hurt the keep It around. Maybe I'll pick up a nice early Datsun some day and need that size radiator haha who knows
