It has L1600 w/ 4 speed number are all match. That round amber front fender marker was on the Oct '68 to June '69 trucks so perhaps those fenders were swapped on to replace damaged ones??? All '70 model year trucks had an amber rectangular front fender marker and L16 motors. Nice!! Quote Link to comment
Rays74
Rear markers are round too, Mike.......somebody switchy switchy all four? :) Whatever her pedigree may be, it's a damn clean little truck, congrats on that! --Ray Quote Link to comment

supercrawler
Humm,, so i checked and see if fender has been change or not. What do you think? Inner fender LT,and RT. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
I've seen a number of very early 1970 model year (built in 1969) PL521s with round markers. I read somewhere the changeover actually happened in Dec '69. It's an odd combo- '69 body details with '70 engine. Quote Link to comment

Rays74
Yep, looks OEm from here.......not surprising though, I've seen a few oddities that factories do mid-year. Regardless of it all, beauty truck :) Quote Link to comment
