Why hello 610ers, My name is Eric aka Jett Antonio aka gameovr aka RedNGold. I don't want to get ahead of myself as this thread is about my 6X & NOT about me :) Im the new owner of this green bluebird 610. Most of you are prolly familiar w/ her. Currently, this is her status... Brakes: pads & shoe replaced & drums resurfaced Suspension: almost done. Prior to her being on these jack stands, her freeze plugs were replaced. There's leak coming from her tranny so, as soon as her suspension gets replaced I will take her to a local shop to get those looked at. I hope its nothing major so Im crossing my finger. HISTORY: Found out alot just from reading through "610 Unite" Let's hit the rewind button, shall we?........... Quote Link to comment

She used to be Sliding Creep & before she acquired that green dress of her, she used to be.....naked. why d sad face? well, prior to Sliding Creep owning her (Oct 2008), the owner before that did little to take care of her. This dude lied to me about the car. He said he's a cop & he had own the car for 8 yrs. Yet, he doesnt know anything about the history of the car. Yet, he cant answer me when i asked what kind of oil he uses & when was the last time he did an oil change. Yet, the pink slip is still under Steve's name. Did i say he claimed he's law inforcement? I should report this guy as he may do the same thing when he tries to sell or trade my old whip. my old whip & the green sexy. hmmm i should just call her Green Sexy Quote Link to comment

The clown tinkered around w/ the SU carb adjustments & could not get it back to how Steve had it. Luckily, my buddy (who had own multiple vehicles than he had own socks) knows alot about SU carb. I dont. But im beginning to. Drove her home d same day (Labor day). That's funny. The Clown purchased her from Steve on a holiday (07/04/12) & traded her on another holiday (09/03/12) Here she is as she sits outside my house waiting for the longbed to take her. She needs to see some other classic/jdm cars. I took a screen shot last night so i can put them on my history folder. I can try to edit them them sometime tomorrow or thurs. Need to work on Green Sexy tomorrow. Future plans include: HID lights, 510 or 73 grill & bumpers, chin spoiler, duckbill rear spoiler, rear coilovers (510), racing seats, cf wrapped hood, 15 in wheels (Konig Rewinds), flares, SR20 or KA engine or ITB etc Quote Link to comment

REDnGOLD Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2012 So today, I hit a bump... a big bump (not literally) on swapping my rear shock absorber. The bolt is just so old that it stripped when i tried to loosen it. Here's a closer look. Do i have to remove the whole spindle & arm? or is there any shop there that can remove the leftover bolt ? Here is a pix w/ my shock attached. Of course, i will not drive it. I just put it on so i can get it towed to a shop. So far, no shop is able to remove it. I was told that i will need to remove the whole hub w/ arm. My luck.... Quote Link to comment
