I want to swap a 521 body onto a 620 chassis, possible???

I have a 1970 521, that i would like to take the body off and put it onto a 1979 620 chassis, rather than fix all the suspension, brakes, and steering issues on the 521. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a lot of modifications required, or do they swap easily, I have a 78 regular cab 620 or 79 king cab to choose from.

The 521 is basically only an inch shorter than a reg cab short wheel base 620 so it should fit and look ok. The KC is out as the '79 rear wheels would be about 9 inches further back in the rear wheel wells. Will the cab and box mount holes line up? Possibly. I put a 620 on a 720 frame and it was a very good fit. you need to do some measuring of the mount hole locations.
