280zx Rear Subframe & Brakes (510)

I want to know if the rear subframe/lower control arms/strut towers from a 280zx will bolt onto my 510.

What do you want to do? The trouble to use any of that stuff is not worth it. Easier ways to get disk brakes and better rear coilover options. The 280zx struts won't fit in the rear tower and the geometry of the rear arms is way off. Do a search on this fourm and this question has been asked many times. I used the R200 from a 280zx and thats it, and its over kill but I like to beat on things :thumbup:

For sure. Ill do more research and figure out what I want to do.

All I know is that I want coilovers, better struts and disk brakes in the rear.

Any suggestions?

Depends how cheap you are. The nice option is aftermarket coil overs. There is a write up in the how to section to use subaru struts and ebay honda civic coilover kits if you're cheap.

Yeah I want to go as cheap as possible. Lol Ill have to find that thread about the subaru struts and honda coilovers.

Lower control arms from a 280zx will bolt to a 510 crossmember, but you are not gaining anything and really there are more CONs than the 1 PRO.
