bananahamuck
If you run power directly to your coil on one side an tap a ground with the other side it should fire even without it hooked up any other way. .. don't leave hooked up very long just a few seconds to test. Yeah it could shock the fuck outta you if you hold it in your hand soooo find a way to run coil wire to engine ground,,,, or not,, and video tape it. 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
The one that says Must stay on while cranking. It was in the ign spot on the ignition switch. But I used the test light and that post had constant power, and the post it's on now only has power while cranking 'test light' 1 Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
I don't see why your old coil wouldn't work if you wire it up with jumper wires ....... My wife is still shopping and she took Alberts girlfriend so they may never come back 2 Quote Link to comment

uberkevin
So this isn't what my coil looks like. http://m.ebay.com/itm/1990-Nissan-240Sx-Ignition-Coil-W-Bracket-Oem-S13-5-Spd-Fb-5244-/191496960422?nav=SEARCH Also don't have the clip on the coil. And this is what I don't have. This may be the next step.. Scary turning over the motor, lube will only last so long. Hahaha 1 Quote Link to comment

Elkie
If you turn ign on and start the wipers, do they stop when you start/crank? If they do then that yellow wire has to go somewhere else I think. 2 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
I'll test that tomorrow, thanks man! 1 Quote Link to comment

Draker
Do those injectors use orings to seat in the fuel rail? Quote Link to comment
4perrev
Nice work. Better say goodbye to those rear tires I'm sure. Temptation of the right foot is a good thing!! 2 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Got the injector figured out.. someone had taped it in with the harness!! So now it's running on all 4 cylinders. Small bugs. Think I need to drop the oil pump and clock the dizzy back a notch or two. She dies after 10 or so seconds. I can't pull codes do to not having a green bulb in my ecu, but it would throw codes no matter what do to not having emissions shit.. #3 injector was leaking, fixed that. Exhaust is really going to be the big thing.. everything is really close to the torsion bar and the block/tranny. A had to cut my ebrake mount to. Overall it loud! And is nice as fuck to hear run. My dumb ass.. doesn't know if I got oil pressure tho..... I don't see why I wouldn't have but still.. I didn't hook up a gauge. 2 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Do those injectors use orings to seat in the fuel rail? Both top and bottom there is a oring. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Dies after a few seconds...you left the IACV hooked up, right? The IAC is the only thing you should have left on when deleting emission stuff. Quote Link to comment
