flatcat19
KA engine + KA trans = White Rabbit mod. Have fun with that. Lol. With the way Kevin drives....much needed. 2 Quote Link to comment

uberkevin
If I get time tomorrow I'll pull the ka tranny combo in my truck. Swap the ka transmission on to the rebuilt ka.. Then see what's up with the driveline. Circuit sport shifter??? I know it's a short shift. Just need to Google to see what I've got. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Will you have to switch mounts to use the KA trans? 1 Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
That butt lips spent almost every second of the trip looking at it.. Maybe still sleeping since he doesn't start work everyday till like 9:00 pm 1 Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
Of course he did. Kids don't know how to interact in person for long periods of time but oh man the conversations they can have on a mobile. I want that damn ka though. I got two trucks that will possibly be motor less at some point 3 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
V3 Circuit sport short shift. I can say I came up . So. Remove old drive line. Pull tranny from 521 Put ka tranny in 521 'behind ka' Figure out what needs to be done for trans mount. Annnnd find out how much I'll need to shorten my one piece drive line.. Called a rad shop, asked if they can change the top inlet on my radiator to the other side.. they don't see why not. So that's sweet! And wiring is going to be pretty easy. 'Unless my wires are fucked on my harness but I don't think they are.. 2 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Probably one thing will get done before vacation.. But I'll buy things forsure hahaha 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Selfie. Pulled. And ready to put this in. Being it's a long tranny I'm wondering if I can put it in the way I normally do. With the transmission and motor attached. 4 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Again...what are you doing with your shorty mount? And hurry up and get over here. 1 Quote Link to comment

greenthumb
Selfie. Pulled. And ready to put this in. Being it's a long tranny I'm wondering if I can put it in the way I normally do. With the transmission and motor attached. If you can, I'd like to know how. I had to separate mine. The fixed crossmember is the problem as I recall 1 Quote Link to comment
datson4life
^This is true, well for dual cam the only way to fit (barely) is removing water pump and crank pulley, i find it easier installing separate, more time consuming but less damage 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
If I had a welder here I'd wanna make that fixed cross member removable.. Soo do I need to drop a torsion rod? Or should it fit between? Damn that sucks. Then I've gotta align the tranny from under the truck and bolt on.. the Ebrake ever in anybodys way? The part welded to the frame in the bay. 2 Quote Link to comment
datson4life
Align clutch the best u can and tranny slides pretty easy in, ive installed alone before, wasnt too bad, just loosen one side of centerlink, and remove the long torsion bar bolts and u should be good, ebrake just keep an eye on, it should barely clear Yea pur fixed crosmmembers suck 1 Quote Link to comment
