Carwson
Hi I am starting on a project for my boss who now owns a 65 320 stake bed truck. I need a few parts for it and was wondering if you guys could help me out. I am looking for the stock radio and some help with where some pieces go on the truck. I am also looking for all seals on the body of the truck. I can not seem to figure out where the upper heater core hose goes to on the truck. I am also looking for a full wiring schematic for the truck. I will get more info on what body type and what motor it has tomorrow at work and post it. Any info I could get from you guys would be greatly appreicated. Here are a few pics of the truck. https://plus.google.com/photos/116530901647126085706/albums/5778978746524555265?authkey=CLji_r7xjJHP6QE sorry try this 1 Quote Link to comment

wayno
Is this a dually axle truck? Here is a link to a pinned thread for several wiring diagrams, the 320 is in there. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/39969-wiring-diagrams/ Looks to be an early 65 with a 64 grill, and it also has the canister oil filter. Need more photos, if it's a dually, definitely more of the rear axle area. :) Quote Link to comment
Carwson
Thank you for the link to the wiring diagrams. No not a dually. I will post some more pics and info about the truck after I get off work tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
Tice
That's a sweet looking little truck. It would be badass if it were a dually! As far as getting parts for the truck, try searching in This area, posting in This area, or get with 620green, I see he had several new products for the 320 some time ago (According to This thread) maybe he can help you. good luck, and keep us updated! ]2eDeYe
That truck looks great. I'd be carefule ordering from 620green, if you read through his for sale thread there have been a few issues with his product representation. Quote Link to comment
Carwson
Ok I put up some pictures of the rear end. I found out its a L320 but did not get time to check what motor it is. ( Under #4 spark plug ) Quote Link to comment
wayno
I have seen a lot of flatbeds done this way, mostly on big trucks, but it is a common way to do it. The flatbed looked wider in the other photos above, that was why I was asking if it was a dually. 620green has been run off ratsun, but he is selling on ebay now. The truck looks to be in fairly good shape for what it has been used for. I have windshield gaskets, and rear window gaskets for sale for $135.00 each shipped to the lower 48 states, or $255.00 for a set(front and rear) shipped. On this thread/link below, I have posted(post #20) a few part numbers for products that I am/or others are using for gaskets/seals, I would recommend using datsun 311 roadster window channel felt, it is by far the easiest to work with. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/38481-waynos-1963-l320-project/page__hl__wayno Quote Link to comment

rkldesign
Hey there I may have some of the seals you need, let me know what parts you need and I can check my stash. I also posted on ebay a few days ago lots of parts under Datsun 320 heading. Richard Quote Link to comment
KFunk740
Finding a stock radio that works is going to be near impossible, unless someone on this forum has one left over from a parts truck or a negative ground conversion. If nobody here speaks up, your best bet may be something that looks fairly original (Retro Sound brand?), or maybe one from a similar old Datsun or japanese car. These all will probably be much more difficult if you're sticking with generator/body positive set up (I think, not sure). You're also out of luck on vent window seals, unless somebody gets production going. See the extensive thread in this forum. Nobody makes them or has them, and it's going to be tough to get production started. You should have a heater hose going thru that grommet in the firewall right behind your sparkplugs. I'll have to get a better look at my truck later if I get a chance, to tell you more about the routing. Quote Link to comment
rkldesign
If you still need help with the truck I can provide some pics of mine to help you with where parts go. Richard Quote Link to comment
