Okay my car is way too low, I think the guy who I bought it from said he got the springs from a 610 and then cut. Where can I get stock springs or performance springs that will lower my car about 1.5 -2 inch. Right now, my budget is low since I just installed an engine but can't stand hitting pot holes and the bounch is too much and my familia. I hear coil overs too..there's already so how much for coil overs, how muchie for lowering springs, just pricing around? I want my car to be lowered maybe on 1.5 inch maybe 2 that's all and can't spend to much money. What If I get stock springs, and cut one coil, will it be bouncy? and how much will 4 springs cost me?

shorten the strut will lower it w/o loosing travel and not have to cut the spring.

what does this mean? Bouncy to me is when you hit a bump and the car keep bouncing up/down. to fit this you need shocks or new strut inserts

 

510s have 3 differnt strut lengths most are the tall one which are 11.5.

You can install a shorter strut from another 510 or a 280zx and use washers(or spacers) to make up the difference.
