datzenmike
2wd anywhere up to 25MPG, 4x4 under 22 Quote Link to comment
HRH
25 mpg if you're geared correctly and the Weber is jetted leaner. Stock stump pulling gears, 18-20 is about right, even for 2wd. The 3000 rpms on the freeway is what will kill you. Unlike EFI, you're open on both barrels at 3000 rpm. If you lean that out (smaller main jets) you'll have less power, but certainly better economy. ggzilla
Jet it right -- about 14.7 for cruising. You'll still have beaucoup power when you floor it, because the Weber has a power valve. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Beaucoup. Ah the great French diaspora... America and Canada can claim the first and second largest population of French decedents outside France itself. Quote Link to comment
