blueghost510 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 I posted on there the other day and had tremendous luck getting my motor running... Now it's not running right. Under load it runs rough and then stalls out, and the "charge light" is on. I check the alt, and it's charging. I was going to go though and double check for vac leaks, since I removed all the smog junk. New fuel filter. Any ideas? I know the carb is good, I pulled it off a motor that I was driving last week.... Quote Link to comment
DAT510 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 For the charge light, check to see if the voltage reg works. A bad voltage regulator will give you the charge light. Check voltage at battery at various RPMs. shouldn't be above 14 volts. Quote Link to comment
