Pedro
Hey Guys, finally getting into work on my 65 P411 wagon. Started looking at the brakes and I'm wanting to buy as many new parts as possible in regards to the wheel cylinders and actual replaceable drum components. Here are pic from one of the front drums Anyone know if this stuff is available to buy anywhere? Even if it's from other models that fit? Quote Link to comment
datsun-roadster-parts
Pedro, Have SPL310 Roadster brake parts that cross over to the 410 and I believe cross over to the 411 also (with drum brakes). Have a pretty good selection of rebuild kits and new cylinders too, both front and rear along with relined shoes (front only - don't know if roadster rear shoes cross over or not). Also should have the wheel bearings, grease cap, springs and I believe the little ecentric pin that adjusts the shoe although I'll have to really look for those as they are buried in one of about 15 boxes of parts. ggzilla
Those look good -- what is the problem? I would just brush off the light rust, and grease up the contact points. Quote Link to comment
Pedro
Thanks Paul I'll hit you up if I can't find any locally. ggzilla, they are worn unevenly (can see if you look carefully at the top right corner). These will probably work in the interim, but want to know if I can buy replacement parts when the time comes. Quote Link to comment
shano1300
hi, did you end up finding any new cylinders? Quote Link to comment
Johnlorio
Early Datsun roadster parts will fit (1500 only one with front drums). Shoes and cylinders available fom the roadster community I know dean at Datsun roadster parts has them. Quote Link to comment
