Ale0424 Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 I have owned this car for about a year now, got it running but it's not road worthy yet. I ran into another more solid dime after I started working on this one, so I have decided to let this one go. Floor pan needs to be replaced but I have a solid floor pan that came out of a two door that will go with the car. There are other areas that have rust issues, please see pictures but I believe is a duable project. As I mentioned, it's in running condition, brakes work, no leaks, no overheating or funny engine noises, all lights work except the reverse lights. It's an automatic with a stock L16 and have only driven it down my block because it has no current tags and the exhaust is very loud when you hit the gas pedal, the exhaust is loud when because a small piece of the exhaust pipe was cut by the previous owner, really don't know why. It's titled under my name and has aftermarket lowering springs that dropped the car about two inches, the Kosei wheels pictued on the car will not be included, I will throw in a set of 13" baby supra wheels with banged up tires. The car will also need a battery, I have been using my GTI's battery to run it once a week. I have another dime, a corolla GTS and MK1 GTI, so I need to sell it as quick as possible to get some room in my garage and I don't have any space for trades, sorry. I'm located in deeeep south Texas, between McAllen and Brownsville. I think $950 is a reasonable price for what I think may be a restorable dime, thanks.
