Skulptr
No clue. I had them too, And nothing to connect them too. I'm thinking it was a cruise control option Quote Link to comment
Sealik
Hmmmmm...86..Z24I (?)......maybe the ECU reads the speedo at a certain mileage....tripping a sensor/dummy light for not needed maintenance???? No clue :D Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The single Red wire goes to the "30,000 Mile Switch" (California models) The Two wire plug goes to the the speed sensor on the ASCD, (Automatic Speed Control Device or cruise control) Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Thank you Mike I have bought 2 gauge clusters and neither one has the wires. I installed one of the clusters today and everything works fine except the speedo. it spins over to the peg on the right bottom of spedo and stays there at slow speeds. I have a new speedo cable I will try tomorrow if weather permits. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I figured with the postal package in the picture you had one sent to you. Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
That was a package from a NOS speedo cable that has the wrong type end for the speedo. Quote Link to comment
