Is the C&C in Vegas like the ones here in Cali in by 6 out by 9 AM.? I would like to go but I won't get into town till about 9 am.

There is also the Viva Las Vegas show that same day. I might go check out some old school rods after the BRE thing.

According to the C&C Las Vegas website, it's from 8 to 11. We wouldn't have to be at BRE right at 10, so I say do it

I will be getting there on Friday night and doing some tourists type stuff. Miguel is coming with me and he has never done Vegas! Should be exciting!

Yeah, B'Fast, C&C and then BRE will work! Then more tourists stuff! Hoover Dam anyone?

Not sure how Ratsuners and Dime Quarterly people get along. I personally don't have any problems. They are talking about dinner and a cruise on Friday night. Here is a quote from the registration email (many of you probably got the same thing.)

"Reason I'm writing again is Derek Bros, president of Sin City Z (the only local Datsun club), reached out to see how many folks are interested in an inform cruise and dinner somewhere in the area on Friday night. The current plan is to met at the Best Western Plus (address below) around 6pm. (We'll figure out the specifics that night... at a minimum we'll stay clear of the Vegas strip as its way too crowded.) The Hope you can join us for the cruise/dinner, otherwise we'll see you at the BRE open house."

Great to meet some of you guys and check out your rides. The turnout was pretty small considering, but worthwhile. Thankfully I live in Vegas and Pete says he's there every day. Now I have an even better reason to get my ride going. Anyone who's into Datsuns, Cobras, or Daytonas should make the trip. Lots of memorabilia and info around that place. It's pretty small, but fits the needs of BRE.

I only snapped a couple pics with my phone (I was unaware of this meet) but will get more on my next trip ;)

Yeah. I was bummed that more people didn't show up. I did hit up another show at the cannery casino. Hung out there foe a bit. Then went back to the resort hit shower. Went out and had a nice steak and lobster dinner. Man I'm getting old. I never even put a dollar in a slot machine, Or hit a strip club.

I too was hoping and expecting more people. The cool thing, though was how intimate it ended up being. Standing around talking to Pete, Gayle and John like you're at a back yard BBQ made it all worth while. They are really neat and fascinating people.

I will post more of the 800+ mile round trip adventure in my build thread but here are some oics I took of the event.

Miguel and I had a great time! Yes, we also hoped there would be a bigger turnout, but, I have a feeling the next one will be bigger now that he word is getting out about how pleasant it was. It was great meeting up with the Utah Posse and Datrod at C&C and then seeing other friends at the event! Sebastian was there, and I believe helped organize the event, and brought along his Yellow Dime.

Got to buy some really cool goodies and have Pete and John autograph a few glove boxes and the said goodies!

Big Thank You to Pete and Gayle Brock for opening up their new shop to us and I wish them the best! Looking forwards to doing it again!

I scored a True Scale Miniatures set and got it autographed!
