datzenmike Posted August 24, 2019 Report Share Posted August 24, 2019 Even if the LED is aligned in the correct place and perfectly aimed, reflector style are 2-3 times brighter than the halogen, maybe more, and spray light everywhere, so yeah, they just blind oncoming traffic. Projector style lenses with the beam cut off fixes this. High beam brightness for blocks but only from waist high down. 2 Quote Link to comment

The e-codes have an extremely sharp low beam cutoff for a reflector. It also has something to do with the shape of the glass. High beam is just mind blowing. 1 Quote Link to comment
