Eagle_Adam
i dunno about paint, re-chromed seems like it would look best to me. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
That black chrome might look alright. The 73 JDM grilles are black and look fine. Quote Link to comment
Boaty
You'll find it kind of hard to chrome that grille, beings as how it's stainless steel. Personally, I would have the headlight trim re-chromed, and then polish the all living piss out of your grille. By polish I mean buffing, not Mother's and a rag. So the down side is initial investment in a good buffer, buffing wheels, and compounds. And remember one compound per buffing wheel! I love me some polishing... I'll be buying a nice Baldor buffer setup some day sooner or later. I love it as an art, so maybe once it's set up and such I'll start offering my buffing services :) Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
I agree with the re-polishing. It'll stand out the most. Boaty has it right, "polish the piss out of it"!! Quote Link to comment
Z chopper
chrome the headlight trim and buff the grille Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
You'll find it kind of hard to chrome that grille, beings as how it's stainless steel. "Black Chrome" is actually a Nickle Oxide coating. Stainless Steel has a high Chrome and Nickle content which gives it the rust resistant property. Black Chrome plating should adhere well but will likely be expensive if you go that route. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
how much? http://community.ratsun.net/topic/31041-chrome-service/ Quote Link to comment

Tristin
you just raised the price... how inconvenient huh? but may i ask why so much for head light surrounds and the grill is so little? Looks like one is just polishing and the other is a full re-chrome. Quote Link to comment
510sAreHot
i see, i see. well maybe in the future i will hit him up Quote Link to comment
Shagy
Yeah. Got a call today that my costs went up again. I can't absorb it any more. I'm trying to keep them as low as possible. Headlamp surrrounds get chromed while the grill is polished. chrome will not last long on SS. Quote Link to comment
