KELMO
Ok, so I'm about half a year late to ask this but: What did you use as a filler & sealer on the dash? I have a couple pads that could seriously use some refurbishing. 1 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
I just used a light weight filler, sanded it smooth, used a black rattle can primer, then flocked it. 1 Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Ok, I forgot to mention you're dealing with a novice when it comes to me. Like a light weight body filler or something completely different? Sometimes I feel like a blind guy that lost his guide dog. 1 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
Haha you're good. Yes an automotive body filler that you'll be able to find at any autobody supply company. 1 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Those notches do not appear to be much higher than stock. 2 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
You're right, the bottom of the notch is right at the top of the stock rail. The only reason we're not doing a C notch is just in case I decide to go with a bigger wheel down the road. 2 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
I understand. Nice looking notches, what dimension steel did you use? Quote Link to comment
sedition88
I actually don't know, all the fab work is being done by a friend of mine, but the notches did just slid into the frame rail, to give you some idea, so the notches are sitting inside the frame rail and welded together. 1 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
Rear end is cleaned up. A hole was found under the rust where the spring perches were and is getting patched. 3 Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
Are those lower control tubes will take the full weight of the truck, with it being applied in the center like that? 2 Quote Link to comment

G-Duax
What are you going to do for shocks ? Mount them on the back side of the axle, like the originals ? 1 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
Yes, going from that cross bar to the back of the axle 1 Quote Link to comment

Always cool seeing stuff like this. Me too. I thought those were mock up control arms at first, then I saw the gussets. That will do the trick. 1 Quote Link to comment
sedition88
It's nice to know that the owner of the big truck is jealous of the little one. 3 Quote Link to comment
