Shift boot

Do any companies make a replacement shift boot for the 620's?

 

If not, are there any that would be easily modified to fit? The original one in my truck apparently fell apart 10 or 15 years ago, and he couldn't find a replacement so he modified one out of a later vehicle to fit. Now, that one has completely disintegrated.

 

 

I'd really like to avoid dropping my phone through the shift hole while I'm on the highway. :lol:

That the round rubber one in the floor? Or the stitched naugahyde with the tie cord on top?

The round rubber one on the floor. The bottom of the one I have is square and it looks like there's a hole in each corner of it to screw down to seal against the tunnel. Mine isn't original though, so I have no idea what it's really supposed to look like.

I think you can buy $5 CV boots and use those.

I can't believe I didn't think about this already...

 

I've got like 5 of them already that I use to cover my paintball air tanks with. This should be a fun easy project for tomorrow.

I bought mine from Nissan. There were really inexpensive $5 for the one on the transmission shifter and $7 for the larger one the covers the floor hole.
